This 7 Shank is 6 1/2 long and has quite a bit of weight behind the mouthpiece, which allows a quick releasefrom the riders hands. This is an excellent transition bit out of an O-ring or d-ring. This 5 1/8 square spoon port mouthpiece has a 1/2 wide port. The width of the port is comfortable for the horse while encouraging collection.
