This 7 Shank is 6 1/2 long and has quite a bit of weight behind the mouthpiece, which allows a quick release from the riders hands. This is an excellent transition bit out of an O-ring or d-ring. The 5 1/8 medium port is mild, but delivers ample collection and break at the poll.
