This all seasons heated poultry fount is thermostatically controlled to keep water from freezing during the winter. It has an electrical connection on the base to allow it to be used all year. It holds 3 gallons of water. Plug extension cord into unit during the winter months. Operates automatically. Unplug extension cord during warm months and use as regular waterer.
