Measures 8 1/2 " on each side. Will have to buy a smaller girth.

Very nice for the price. Sadly could not use as it made the cinch position too low in the heart girth. Was hoping to replace English style girth on my bareback pad, but just not going to work. Will keep and try on a different saddle.
