This Sunflower shank is 8 long. It delivers nice collection and leverage as well as the ability to keep the horse flexing and bending. The 5 1/8 twisted wire dog bone mouthpiece applies more pressure to the outside of the bars, allowing for more flex and bend than a traditional two-piece snaffle. This dog bone also has a roller in the middle, a great soothing tool for an anxious horse.
