The medium is a touch big for my 17" close contact saddle. The stitching looks good on the top side but is a little messy on the bottom. I ordered this as a half pad to go under my Thinline when I show, and it does that job great. It's not very padded or cushiony, but the Coolmax tech keeps my horse's back cool and comfortable.
