Measure each hoof from buttress to toe, and across the widest point of the hoof after a fresh trim.

Regular Sole: The length and width of sole are the same. The width should not exceed the length by more than one size variation.
Slim Sole: The sole is 5mm (1/4'') less than the length of the hoof. If the width is more than 2 sizes narrower, this boot may not be suitable.
